Originally from Canada, I currently live part time in Kyoto, Japan and part time in California. I'm lucky enough to get to hack on open source code for a living, but also enjoy electronics projects, hacking on embedded systems, amateur radio, and learning languages.
I'm a huge FreeBSD and OpenBSD fan, but enjoy playing with Linux on embedded devices too. I love minimalist technology, readable code, and low-powered devices.
