THE PURGE: Pro-Putin writer and political activist Zakhar Prilepin has been wounded in a car bombing outside the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Prilepin was an outspoken supporter of Putin and wrote frequently to justify Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
